AstroBodies™ by Melanie Gurley
What ARE AstroBodies™?
Did you know that every sign in the zodiac corresponds to a body part?
It's pretty straightforward, actually: they align in zodiacal order (from Aries to Pisces) on the body from head to toe! When the energy of the planets in the signs are drawn onto a body form, you can actually see the energy at play in someone's life!
AstroBodies™ are a visual representation of energetic natal potentials, based on the planetary placements in the natal chart and corresponding to body parts, according to zodiacal associations of traditional medical astrology. |
How do AstroBodies™ work?
To put it simply:
AstroBodies™ are natal charts
in human form.
What can you do with an AstroBodies™ drawing?
AstroBodies™ are beautiful renditions of people’s spirits & embodiment energies! Each one is unique and reflects the life and style of the person whose chart is drawn. As such, they work perfectly well as personalized art or gifts.
Another of my favorite uses for them - besides the soul portraits - is to draw on transits that are happening. For physical issues, this can be very enlightening as well as for other issues, including behavioral or relational.

Here are some other ideas for how to work with AstroBodies™ drawings:
- reflecting injury patterns from numerous incidents
- being able to see and understand the energetics behind behaviors, gaining compassion & perspective
- deciding on where to place 'the next tattoo'
- seeing energy patterns within the family; gaining insight into extended family mentorship potential for kids
- affirming that a person is a certain way and finding space for acceptance, compassion, and understanding
- acknowledging the power of natural gifts (even though they can sometimes feel like hindrances)
- recognizing the truth of oneself reflected in the drawing, sometimes a feeling for which it's hard to find words
- a deeper level of appreciation for why and how we resonate with certain heroes or celebrities
- a chance to get to know ancestors or historical figures, and perhaps how their energies live on
- honoring the spirits of those who have passed
- celebrating the spirits of friends, family, heroes, and idols - living or deceased
